4th of July...sort of

Instead of partaking in cookouts, parties, fireworks, or any other sort of 4th of July staple, I worked most of this weekend - well, worked and watched after this little pup.

I had hoped that looking after Dora, a coworker's dog, for the weekend would help me get rid of this dumb idea that I should get a pet. I'm afraid it might have had the opposite effect.
